Der Mond was a performance produced for Artist Space, New York in April 2014 as part of castillo/corrales exhibition ISSUES OF OUR TIME (3): LESS TIME, MORE ISSUES Der Mond, was loosely based on the opera with the same name by Carl Orff, and was the vehicle for one of the evening’s event. The piece, which is rather a tale actually, was the subject of reinterpretation, with few means and participants under the music direction of Andreas Führer. The theme of the performance was relevant enough; greed and excess that creates fear and stress, even after death.
